He projects that this will only increase (twofold) as countries continue to manufacture ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) vehicles. On one hand, he pushes the projected shift from “molecules to electrons” on environmental grounds. On the other, he shows a keen awareness of the cynics’ concern with the bottom line.

El Guardian lo recoge y en Arkinet han preparado un post más extenso, detallando algunos de los extremos de la propuesta. La Hoja de Ruta 2050 (Roadmap 2050) propone una red de energía compartida e interconectada a nivel europeo que conseguiría una reducción de hasta un 95% (!) en emisiones de CO2 para el año 2050. Entre otras cosas, destaca la reconfiguración que presentan del mapa de Europa atendiendo a las fuentes energéticas que prevalecerían en este nuevo escenario.
